Jane Craddock Ryan

Jane Craddock Ryan grew up in Elgin. She graduated from the Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Legal Studies. She returned to the Fox Valley area to attend Northern Illinois University College of Law, from which she graduated with honors.

Upon graduation, Jane made the decision to practice in the Elgin area and has remained in practice there over the years, she has been involved in leadership roles in the Elgin Area Chamber of Commerce, Altrusa, Women in Management, and the Community Crisis Center. She is a member of the Kane County Bar Association, where she served as a director, secretary/treasurer and chair of the Bench and Bar Commission. She is a member of the Probate and Estate Community and Elder Law and Disabled Community. She is also a member of the McHenry County Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association. She is a voluntary attorney for Administer Justice in Kane County.

Jane is a frequent speaker at seminars on guardianships of minors and disabled adults and adoptions. She is certified to serve as a Guardian ad Litem for minors and disabled adults in guardianship cases. She has concentrated her practice in the areas of probate litigation, estate and trust administration. guardianship and adoption for many years.
